AEPMA is widely recognised as "the voice of the industry" and the go to source for consumers, the media and government when it comes to pest management issues in Australia.
The Association has gained the trust and confidence of government departments in every Australian state and territory, and our input is regularly sought before decisions are finalised.
We have representatives on many government committees including State licensing committees, Standards Australia, Advisory Committees, the Pest Industry/Government Sector Working Group, and other appropriate working parties. We have been involved with the Senate Select Committee on pesticides, NHMRC workshops on termites, the creation and development of the National Competency Standards, as well as national licensing and other technological inputs.
We are also a member of the Australian Property Services Alliance.
Internationally, AEPMA is an active Member of the Federation of Asian and Oceania Pest Managers Associations (FAOPMA) and has close links and reciprocal arrangements with all similar pest management Associations throughout the world.
The diversity and strength of the Association's membership enables us to be truly representative of the professional pest management industry.
