The Dual Powerlight from Ensystex uniquely combines two powerful 5 Watt CREE LED lamps, offering two different light modes, a bright 300 lumens white light mode for standard pest inspections, together with a UV-A black light mode for targeting specific hygiene and pest situations.

The bright white light is ideal for commercial pest inspections or termite inspections. It is powerful enough to brightly illuminate the target inspection zones, so you don’t miss any pest activity, but not so bright as to dazzle when close checking in cupboards, etc. The 300 lumens power is perfect for this need.
The high-power UV-A black light is required for IPM programs and is uniquely contained in the same sealed, water-resistant reflector. Rodent urine glows brightly under UV-A light enabling rodent runs to be monitored and contamination to be identified. Many other hygiene contaminants will also glow under UV-A light, and of course MUSKIL Dual Active Rodent Baits are designed to glow under a UV-A light for improved performance and better monitoring of IPM programs. With MUSKIL, rodent droppings will also glow under the UV-A light if the rodents have consumed the bait.
Scorpions and, more importantly, bed bug eggs, glow brightly under UV-A black light too, so it is a great tool to confirm the success of a bed bug management program or for developing a targeted bed bug treatment program.
The Dual Powerlight is produced in an ISO 9001 Quality Accredited factory and meets the International Protection Standard IPX8. This means it is fully-weatherproof and as rugged as they come. It can survive total immersion in water, to a depth of 1 m, drops from 1.5 m and, because it is constructed from black air-craft grade, hard-anodized aluminium T6061, it is scratch resistant.
Pest managers crawl through subfloors, into roof voids, get down and dirty in factories, throw the torch in the back of the truck and expect it to keep going, so a torch needs to be this tough. Plus, the Panasonic 18650 Li-Ion rechargeable battery provides a continuous working time of 5 – 6 hours.
