Train your staff now to be qualified for Summer

Posted on: 28/06/2018

Rapid Solutions has announced details of its new training services platform.

The organisation, which supports more than 2,000 professionals in the pest management and building inspection sectors, has built a new platform and training support that is efficient, easy to use and customer focussed.

Rapid Solutions Manager of Compliance and Strategy, Nikki Garrard, said that the new system was developed after carefully listening to what the industry was saying and what it would demand now and into the future.

“We began a process of looking for the best possible platforms and support services that would deliver quality training pathways and industry skills that were needed and demanded by professionals in the sector,” she said.

Earlier this year, Rapid Solutions integrated a new system that supports the delivery of industry ready training programs.

“It is a better solution for our students and the businesses in which they operate or work. It is supported by a team of highly experienced technical trainers that understand the industry and can work closely with students and in some cases, their employers,” Nikki said.

Rapid Training now provides the industry with:
  • Training solutions that will be completed in six months and are supported by trainers who will speak with students every week
  • Flexible on-line learning tools that include the introduction of webinars
  • 5 day tutorial workshops delivered face to face in various states on a demand basis
  • Practical assessment tasks submitted via video. This can be as easy as sending a video directly from a mobile device and most importantly assessed by accredited and professional trainers with a quick turn-around
  • Course is broken into relevant units, so that students are assessed as they progress to ensure that recognition of units fully completed is received and any issues are identified early
The first intake under the new system began in late May and enrolments for the second intake opened in June 2018.  “This has been timed to be held during the cooler winter months so that students can complete in time for the busier warmer months,” she said.

“The new training platform is supported by an application and enrolment process to ensure that they have the best opportunity to engage and complete the training programs. A basic assessment as part of application and ensures that students have the skills to complete their training.” Ms Garrard said.
